In his new role, Eduard has responsibility for the company’s operations in Germany, France, Belgium, and Slovenia, which serve many markets throughout Central and Eastern Europe.
Smithers-Oasis announces the appointment of Stephen Short to the new position of Vice President and Managing Director – Northern European and Mediterranean Operations. In his new role, Stephen has responsibility for our operations in the United Kingdom and Spain, which serve many markets throughout Northern Europe and the Mediterranean.
Markus Schütze is named Managing Director – Smithers-Oasis Germany. In his new role, Markus has responsibility for daily operations at Smithers-Oasis Germany; and for market development and customer relationships in the markets served by Smithers-Oasis Germany, which include Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, and Turkey.
Smithers-Oasis mourns the loss of Henri Clijsters, Vice President of the Smithers-Oasis European Operations, following a long illness. “Henri was a great leader, who cared deeply about not only our business, but also our people,” stated Robin Kilbride, Smithers-Oasis President. Henri had celebrated 28 years with the organization in 2009.
