A Berry Wedding Bouquet
This bouquet is a combination of romance and wit with its mixture of white and green flowers, greenery and red berries. The redcurrant cluster and the ivy give this posy its airy touch. Its flair comes from respecting the "Golden Rule" when designing the bouquet (see explanation in the instructions). The bouquet is easy to adapt with any flowers you have in your shop and to the season. Just think of the magic of a winter bride with white flowers, gold or silver painted mistletoe, and bunches of red holly...

Instructions
  1. The base is an OASIS® Bouquet Holder, saturated with fresh water. I started arranging Aucuba, small aralia leaves and Rademarchera leaves asymmetrically, according to the "Golden Rule" of balance, in 3 points: "a principal point, a secondary point at the opposite of the principal, and a complementary point next to the principal."
  2. Then I introduce the flowers- the open Lilium Casablanca in the middle, and closed and semi-opened Liliums set according to the golden rule, the principal point of flowers being put at the secondary point of leaves. I complete with the other flowers, always leaving 1/3 of the bouquet free for the bride to hold against her.
  3. The final airy touch is given by introducing hedera branches and clusters of redcurrant, held together by copper wire and fixed to the Bouquet Holder with a skewer. Spray the whole bouquet with OASIS Clear Life* to ensure longer freshness. The posy is ready, only waiting for the beautiful bride.
  4. If you want to give a perfect finishing touch, wrap the handle of the posy with silk ribbon using OASIS Floral Adhesive, some ivy leaves under the bouquet holder to hide the ribbon start, and glue rose petals at the bottom to recreate a rose.
My Shopping List:

One OASIS Bouquet Holder, OASIS Clear Life,* skewers, 1 stem Lilium Casablanca, 10 white freesias, 2 branches white statice, 3 green mini-anthurium, 10 red mini roses, bupleurum, some aucuba, syngonium, and small aralia leaves, 4 branches of hedera, 1 carton of fresh redcurrant.

Some Tips:

- I spray all leaves with OASIS Leaf Shine* before using them; it gives a glamorous touch to the bouquet.

- It is often useless to buy special flowers for a wedding bouquet. You will probably find just what you need looking around your shop.

- I often take foliage for arrangements from potted plants, where I have the choice of the size of leaves and always have them freshly cut. In this bouquet, I did so for all greens, except aucuba.
