Tribute Arrangement with Natural Beauty
Elaborate funeral tributes are an essential and integral part of Catholic funerals in countries around the Mediterranean Sea. The French polyurethane EYCHENNE® STAR foam is well adapted to hold the large number of flowers and foliage used in these traditional funeral arrangements. The uniquely firm composition of the EYCHENNE* STAR foam not only allows Jean-François the ability to insert delicate flowers and foliage, it also allows the insertion of hard driftwood, with its dense foam structure tightly holding it in place -- enabling this unique tribute to be achieved.

How to put it together
- Totally saturate the foam with water.
- Arrange branches of the long-leaf foliage around the vertical sides of the cross to begin building a soft form and volume; using the smaller round foliage around the horizontal arms. Spray the foliage with OASIS Sunshine* before beginning, or just at the end of this step.
- Place the 2 pieces of driftwood to define the location of the flowers and structure of the cross.
- Begin to pick the larger flowers near the focal point, placing the other flowers first, en mass, then the roses and other small flowers onto the extreme left and right branches of the cross. Create elegant lines of roses and santini, placing the flowers together in lines of the same family of flowers. This creates a smooth and elegant rythym. After all the foliage and flowers are in place, pick the ribbon into the foam, or glue it onto one of the pieces of driftwood, or foliage. Be sure to place it behind the flowers, so that it does not hide the arrangement. Place the rush leaves on the driftwood and allow them to go to the bottom of the cross. Then place the pandanus leaves among them and create movement by crossing the rush leaves.
