Why I Use OASIS Foam & OASIS Products
I believe that whatever design I create must have a solid foundation. OASIS floral foam gives me this solid and reliable foundation. The flexibility of the foam shapes and designs lets me create designs which are exciting and stimulating. The water saturation and retention is so important in Australia because of our extreme weather conditions.

I enjoy working with Oasis floral products because quality and reliability are essential, and so as a consumer, I benefit. In return my clients benefit.

Instructions
  1. The base of the design has an Oasis NaylorBase® 16" (406mm) wreath. In the center stands a broken terracotta urn which is filled with Oasis® Ideal/Standard floral foam. Copper tubing is placed to create a swirling movement.
  2. I have woven some Asparagus Plumosus and Zantherea Grass to create movement. On top of the copper tubing I have placed an oval gilt picture frame. In the top bowl, I have added some Banksia Menzei and Kangaroo Paw, and created a border of Zantherea Grass.
  3. The bulk of the arrangement has now been completed in the top and bottom design. The addition of Banksia Coccinea (red), Dryandra Formosa (orange) and Pink Shell Heath have all created depth and color in this design. The Acacia (Wattle) Pods have created a new texture and form. The color of these pods has been repeated with the Banksia Menzei. Some stems of Leptospermum (Lavender Queen) have also been added to the base of the lower design.
  4. The finishing touch to the design has now been added, and this is the white Flannel Flower which traditionally grows around the Christmas and New Year period in Australia. The addition of the gold candles is to create a contrast of texture and form and strengthen the vertical line of this design.
  5. As a celebratory idea you may wish to light the candles to welcome in the New Year.
