While foam remains pivotal in our product line, today we manufacture and sell products used not only in the floral business, but in the greenhouse grower, craft, biomedical and other specialty markets as well. Customer is Key - Personal customer contact is just one of the many ways we keep our fingers on the pulse of our various markets. We also conduct formal market research to determine the needs of our wholesale, retail and end-use customers. This information is utilized in developing educational literature and sales-promotion programs that assist our customers in enhancing and strengthening their businesses. Smithers-Oasis North America is a well-known and frequent presence at industry trade shows, exhibitions and conferences, where our participation ranges from key exhibitor, to product demonstration, to program speaker.
Outstanding Service - Whether we serve a market through company sales and telemarketing personnel, or carefully selected manufacturers representatives, our sales force is backed by a customer service staff that is second-to-none in terms of efficient, personalized service. Each representative is responsible for a specific geographic region. Thus essential communications between the customer and the company, such as placing orders, tracking their status and ensuring timely delivery, are given proper attention.
In addition to doing new product development, our Research and Development team tests post-harvest products and maintains an on-site greenhouse to conduct propagation research.

These properties are key to the foams' superior performance, whether they are used in flower arrangements, as growing medium or for biomedical uses. The strength of both our wet and dry floral foams means a snug, secure holding capability for flower stems.
State-of-the-Art-Production - Because our floral foam formulations are proprietary, much of the equipment used to produce them has been customized by our in-house engineering staff to meet our specific processing needs. Because product quality is one of our primary driving forces, the technicians in our quality assurance labs continually test both raw materials and finished products to make sure they meet our rigid quality specifications.
