In the autumn of 1991, OASIS® Floral Products launched their College Programme to provide floristry students with the opportunity to view the full range of OASIS® floral products available within the UK.
The aim of the programme is to increase awareness of all our products and educate the students and tutors on the uses of OASIS® Floral Products. We are very fortunate that the majority of floristry education within the UK now takes place in special floristry departments with a regulated College system.
As the Educational year runs from September to July, the College visits usually take place between October and April. There is no cost to the College; all the costs related to a product demonstration are funded by OASIS® Floral Products.
In return, this service offers us the opportunity to test the interest level in our products and provides immediate feedback from users. It is hoped that by making contact at this early stage in the students' careers, we can create a loyalty towards our Company and the OASIS® brand.
Each product presentation takes approximately two hours. The College Advisor will show a PowerPoint presentation and display a selection of OASIS® Floral Products explaining the benefits and number of uses of each product.
At the end of the presentation we hold a "touchy feely" time for the students to get up and have a better look at all the products on display.
