KENT, OHIO – Smithers-Oasis has entered into an agreement with Handy Floral Products under which Handy Floral will transition its business to Smithers-Oasis. The succession plan allows for a seamless transition of the products and services Handy Floral customers have come to expect while joining the Smithers-Oasis family of brands.

Handy Floral Products became a provider of accessories for wedding, prom and other events over the past thirty years. With hundreds of decorative products, they filled the needs of retail florists by providing seasonal embellishments.

“Smithers-Oasis and Handy Floral Products have been neighbors on the shelves of wholesalers for years,” said Anne Stewart, Vice President, North American Floral Operations, Smithers-Oasis. “We are happy to be able to add their products to our family of brands because they fulfill a need of retail florists with their labor-saving and cost-effective upgrades.”

The management team of Handy Floral Products will serve as consultants to Smithers-Oasis to ensure a seamless transition while delivering the same quality, economical products florists expect.
